This Site is created and maintained by Siva Gowravaram (whose home town is Srikalahasti) based on motivation from our dedicated and respected Guru Dr.S.M.K.A Gurukul for the sole purpose of helping people to know more about SriKalahasti and its great history. We do not intend to make money or generate publicity out of this or any other motive but just pure love.

SriKalahasti has a great charm and unique feeling that no other place has in a similar way. Every Siva Temple is unique in South India and SriKalahasti is unique by itself even compared to Rameswaram. Yet lot of People do not appreciate the same and visit the temple for various other pujas instead of the powerful main deities SriKalahasteeswara Swami and Sri Gnanprasunambika Devi. There is nothing wrong in doing other pujas but attention is diverting here.

This website is meant for educating and sharing knowledge. We are trying to recover, recuperate, revive and re-energize the real story behind our home town and home deity.



One of the main Projects being undertaken by us now is to bring light to the old books on SriKalaHasti previously written on palm leaves by great Scholars in the past.

We want to translate them from Sanskrit to different languages (English, Telugu, Tamil) and print them, so that interested people can read and learn about SriKalahasti based on the assumption that this kind of Knowledge should be shared with others and not used for making money. We are happy to share with you some PDF files of books that are already in print due to our devoted Guru Dr. S.M.K Gurukul.

We are looking for donors to support the printing of several other books related to SriKalahasti but due to financial constraints its being delayed.
